"Benny" is an all-American family dog - he is a sweet, 80-pound yellow Labrador mix who has now passed his second birthday. This cheerful boy is easy to walk on a leash and enjoys being around people and other dogs. Benny is ready for adoption and eager to embark on his new adventures in a new home.

Tawnee is a beautiful, medium-sized Beagle/Hound mix with a striking brown and white coat and a heart full of potential. At around 2 years old and weighing about 50 pounds, she's the perfect age to start her next chapter with a loving family.

Smart, athletic, and full of spirit, Tawnee is always up for an adventure—whether it's a long walk, a jog, or a good game of fetch. She's friendly with most other dogs and would thrive in an active home where she can stretch her legs and her mind.

Star, the perfect cuddling buddy and a tricolor hottie rottie mix who has been searching for love for over 1000 days. It's disheartening to see such a sweet dog facing challenges in finding a forever home. Star is a 7-8 year old gentle, well-trained girl and about 60lbs and bonded to O’Hana. She so deserves a loving and caring family where she can be cherished and adored. Star's loving nature makes her impossible to overlook. Pittie mix O’Hana has been waiting to get adopted for an extremely long time. This 8-9 year old beautiful brown brindle bully mix girl has been with us for over 1000 days and counting! The daily kindness shown by RCHS volunteers assures Misty that she is in a secure and safe environment but she sure desires a home of her own. Meet Houdini and River, left scared and alone after being dumped on Mountain View Road in Gualala. The story about these two abandoned Siberian Husky mixes with only each other to rely on will tug at the heartstrings of any animal lover. Thankfully they are safe and now have a chance at a new life all thanks to our compassionate Menodnoma community dedicated to making a difference for these neglected puppies. These two sweet husky mixes are now 18-months-old and in search of patient and caring families who can understand their past traumas and provide them with the love and security they deserve in their forever homes.

Meet the dashing Woody! This sweet 18-month-old heartthrob is a mix of Bully and Cattle Dog, fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Now all this special pup is missing is a loving family with the time and patience for a bubbly, happy-go-lucky teenage pooch with a twist - Woody is deaf. To keep Woody safe, a fenced yard is a must-have accessory. This clever pup has picked up some hand signals and is eager to learn more. He's a pro at walking on a leash and loves to have a rough and tumble playtime with his best shelter buddy, Bear. After spending time with a foster family, Woody is house-trained and bedtime crate-trained.
